Ezgi Ucar is a creative technologist, designer and industrial engineer. She works as the Director of Product Development at Loomia, turning innovative ideas into scalable manufacturing processes. She holds an M.S. degree in Industrial engineering from METU, Turkey and an MFA in Design and Technology from Parsons School of Design, New York.
Before becoming a part of Loomia, Ezgi worked on interactive design projects revolving around sound experiments, multi-sensory explorations, physical computing, wearable technology, and material research. She exhibited and performed her work at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, University of Pennsylvania, Rutgers University, Circuit Bridges Concert Series, SXSW Interactive, Parsons School of Design, Eyebeam, NYC Media Lab, Numa Paris, and New York Hall of Science. She gave talks about her work at SXSW Interactive 2016, Immersive Worlds Conference at Baruch College, CMMR, Intrepid Museum, and Dreamyard Project.
