Our team is composed of engineers, designers, and C-level executives across industries.
Janett is a maker and a project manager with a passion for user experience. Her role is to optimize and scale LOOMIA's suite of patented core technologies for large scale manufacturing. Day to day, she is responsible for identifying and securing key supply chain partners and collecting customer requirements around interface, customer experience, manufacturing, and logistics.
Janett believes that integrity in business relationships can be combined with precisely-engineered materials science to reinvent the apparel supply-chain and enable smarter garments. As a master electrician and team leader, Janett has specified and installed interactive medical and audio systems, and formerly served as stage manager, director, and lighting designer on at New York's Lincoln Center and Boston's Cutler Majestic Theater.
Daughter of an electrical engineer and a creative, Janett brings deep understanding of design and technology to execute magical customer experiences. She studied two years of Design and Technology at Emerson College and Audio Engineering at SAE Institute, with a special focus on electronics and analog processes. She resides in New York, NY.
Madison Maxey is founder and technical lead at LOOMIA, where she designs technology and processes for seamless integration of e-textiles into everyday objects.

Ezgi Ucar is the Director of Product Development at LOOMIA where she oversees the refinement of innovative ideas into scalable manufacturing processes.
Before joining LOOMIA, she worked as an independent design and technology consultant where she advised on smart textile and physical computing projects for companies, entrepreneurs and creative individuals. Her clients include Human Condition Global, Project Runway Jr. (Playroom Productions), Sensors and Stitches, Starfish Greathearts Foundation, Kristin McArdle Dance, Yuchen Zhang Design and L’Artiste Ordinaire. Previously, she served as a Creative Technology Intern in the MediaLab at the Metropolitan Museum of Art where she created a multi-sensory museum project that focused on improving user experiences and accessibility. Ezgi earned her MFA in Design and Technology at Parsons School of Design, where she also worked as a Research Assistant, following her BS degree in Industrial Engineering at Middle East Technical University in Turkey. During her undergraduate studies she worked on several intern projects for companies including Colgate Palmolive Inc., Organic Kimya and Begendik .
Marco Paúl leads operations and supply chain at LOOMIA.
Over 15 years work experience in different leadership roles in the areas of operations, supply chain, logistics, product development, process improvement, technical sales, project management and branding.
Companies he has worked for include: Avery Dennison Retail and Information Solutions, Kornit Digital and Honeywell Automotive, among others.
Originally from Monterrey, Mexico, Marco moved to the US in 2003. He spent 9 years working in North Carolina before moving to New York City in 2013.
He is fully bilingual in English/Spanish.
He is an avid fitness enthusiast and certified fitness trainer
