The Loomia Electronic Layer can be designed to work as a mechanical, capacitive or pressure-based switch. Our most popular application for switching is Automotive interior HMI.

  • The Loomia Electronic Layer can have embedded white or RGB lights to accentuate a user interface. Lights can also be integrated directly into the switch package to create a backlit effect.

  • The Loomia Electronic Layer can be used as an antenna for capacitive switching. This technique allows for a smooth and flat "shy-tech" surface.

  • Loomia's patented mechanical switch package can range in diameter from .5" - 2" . These switches activate around 5lbf to 20lbf and have been tested for 10,000 presses with the possibility for more.

How We Stand Out

Loomia’s patented flat switches are mechanical, meaning that they will work with gloved hands and aren’t suspectable to false triggers like capacitive switches.
